The Outlaw Josey Whales

Filed under: history — admin @ 6:57 am

“The Outlaw Josey Whales” probably depicts much of the Weavers trials and tribulations as we seem to have family in the Missouri (pronounce mizura.) In “Mary Jane McCurdy’s” portrayals of the Civil War out of her book of “The Unbroken Circle”, it was just like that. I guess there were “Red-legs” that were sent to eradicate anyone strong enough to fight back against the Blue-coats. In the not to distant future I plan on adding that book to our online presence for all members to share in.

Weaver Lines of Genealogy

Filed under: names — admin @ 5:14 am

I’ve been working on the railroad, not really, but our ancestors did. The Weavers and McCurdy’s were joined while working on or near the railroads.

I’ve made some real progress in the database management of the lines:

Alston Ayers Bachand Baldry Banks Bass Brown Buchand Burk Cambell Chase Collins Cook Cosgrove Crossman Curl Darling Davis Dick Dobson Edwards Ehteshamzadeh Fairless Freeman Gangawere Gatzimos Gippert Greenwood Gubser Hall Harmon Haro Hart Hartwell Harvey Hignell Hyde Jones Laster Lynn MacBean Mahler Martin McCready McCurdy McNeill Morgan Pearce Pinson Polen Queisenbury Quisenberry Quisenbury Radford Robertson Roshan Rowland Rutherford Sanford Schneider Shearer Sheldon Simerly Sorba Spencer Thomas Violetti Weaver Webb Weldon Wilkinson Yard

with more to come. I’m going to be developing a certification process for relatives who wish to join and benefit from the work of Mini Dee Weaver and Zipra Morgan as well as myself in creating this grand unbroken circle.Â

I know, I know, there are free genealogy sites out there for sure, ancestry.com and rootslist, as well as others. This site will give you direct contact with those who wish to make connections through a direct family database.  This site will allow for greater flexibility as my charts and grafs make clear connections with our past giving you and your children a rich grounding in our historical place in the grand scheme of things.Â

WWII and the past wars have disjointed our connections by dispersing our lines across the US, Canada, Australia and Europe and places we don’t even know yet. I for one would like to reconnect to our families and here the stories they have to tell without reading it in someone’s book. (But I will read someones book if need be.)

More to come.

Warm Regards

Notorious Relatives

Filed under: names — admin @ 4:20 pm

Scott was adding his name to ancestry.com and found some interesting relatives I though I would share with you all. Seems we are related through the Mallory’s to JFK, and somewhere in their is Clyde Barrow. He’s (Scott,) suppose to send me that info. Butch Cassidy anyone? How about Judy Garland? Well, this is shocking enough for one post. Zipra, if you happen across this site please leave us a message. Thanks in advance. I’m sure Scott will enjoy enriching our lives some more…
